8 Reasons Why Walmart Online Grocery Pickup Will Change Your Life!

Grocery shopping just got easier thanks to Walmart Online Grocery Pickup. Quit wandering the aisles and take advantage of FREE curbside pickup!

Walmart Online Grocery Pickup

Grocery shopping just got easier! Walmart stores are expanding their awesome, free Online Grocery Pickup service to stores across the nation. This service lets you order your groceries online and pick them up at your local Walmart without ever leaving your car.  This curbside service is absolutely amazing and will put an end to your days of wandering the aisles. Walmart Online Grocery Pickup changed my life and here are 8 Reasons Why Walmart Online Grocery Pickup Will Change Your Life too!

#1 What You See Is What You Get

So many of the pop-up grocery delivery services lately seem like a bait and switch to me. They reel you in with one offer and you later find out that’s not how it really works. Well, Walmart Online Grocery Pickup is not like that at all. It truly is what you see is what you get. There’s no subscription fee. No delivery fee. No gratuity required or accepted. Same low-prices that you find in-store. Same day pickup if you order by 10am. You order what you want. You tell them when you’ll be there and they load it into your car. Boom. Done.

#2 It’s a Total Weeknight Timesaver

Most people work an 8-5 job and they don’t have the luxury of going to the store at 9am on a Tuesday like me. I’ve done the post-office grocery store run and it’s a madhouse in there! And Saturday or Sunday afternoons are not much better. Save yourself a ton of time and your sanity. Order your groceries through Walmart Online Grocery Pickup. Call them when you are 10 minutes away and you’ll be loaded up and headed home before your coworker walks from the parking lot to the front of the store. And it’s so convenient that all the 9am Tuesday shoppers like me can have their spouse do it on their way home from work. So now I don’t have to go at all!

#3 It’s Like a Drive-Thru, Over-the-Counter Pharmacy

You know when you are sick but you aren’t sick enough to go to the doctor? Or maybe it’s a virus that antibiotics won’t help? And you can barely make it out of bed long enough to turn on Paw Patrol, so finding everyone’s shoes and dragging them into the store with you is out of the question? And you can’t use the Pharmacy drive thru for cough drops, kleenex and cold medicine, right? Well Walmart Online Grocery Pickup is your dream come true. Order everything you need, pull in to the parking lot and they will bring it to your car. You don’t even have to get out of the car. So it doesn’t matter that you are still in your pajamas and one of your kids doesn’t have on pants.

#4 Because You Have No Idea How to Choose a Cantaloupe

I seriously struggle with produce. I am notoriously bad at picking watermelons, cantaloupes, mangoes and don’t even get me started on coconuts. Walmart Online Grocery Pickup makes it a breeze. Their grocery experts carefully choose all your items, including produce, meat and seafood. I was pretty skeptical myself but I’ve done this 3 times now and all my produce has been perfect. Plus it helps that Walmart offers a freshness guarantee. If you are not satisfied with a product you receive through Walmart Grocery, simply call Customer Care for a refund.

#5 No More Checkout Line Embarrassment

We’ve all been there. Your daughter has a case of head lice and your son may or may not have athlete’s foot. Toss in an oh-my-gosh-are-we!? pregnancy test and some hemorrhoid cream and you’re set for checkout disaster. Because as soon as you put all those things on the checkout belt, here comes Gossip Mom right in line behind you. You turn red and frantically try to hide it all under the cereal boxes and frozen veggies. Avoid all the embarrassment with Walmart Online Grocery Pickup. Plus you can send your husband to pick it up and he’ll have no idea he just brought home a club-size box of super plus tampons.

#6 It’s Flat Out Cheaper

I mentioned above about how there’s no subscription fee and the same low-prices that you find in-store. But what really makes Walmart Online Grocery Pickup cheaper is that you won’t have any impulse purchase. This means an end to all the candy and crackers to bribe your kids to behave. No more random nail polish bottles that you think you have to have when you are in-store and none of the “I must have Chocolate!” guilty purchases. You get what’s on your list and only that, every time.

#7 Get Out of the Substitution Game

It’s so frustrating when your store is out of something you need. So you spend what seems like hours looking at all the other items near it, searching for a suitable alternative. Let Walmart Online Grocery Pickup worry about that for you. First of all they have nifty little devices that tell them where all the items are in the store. This means they check end caps and back stock to make sure your desired item truly is out of stock. If that’s the case, they will substitute your item for the closest alternative and if that means a cheaper price, then you are refunded the difference. If the substituted item is higher in price, you pay the lower price. And if you are super brand loyal, you don’t have to enable substitutions. Just grab the item on your next order.

#8 It Makes Vacation a Breeze

When we go on vacation we love to go with a vacation rental instead of a hotel because there’s more space and we can cook our own meals. The only downside is shopping once we arrive at our destination. Shopping at a different store is always tricky. You aren’t familiar with where things are. You wander around trying to find just what you need with the whole family in tow. It can be crazy. Not with Walmart Online Grocery Pickup! Select an eligible store in your destination city and pick up your groceries when you roll into town. Plus you can order it all before you leave because Walmart lets you select a pickup date up to 2 weeks in the future!

So there you have it. I’m fairly confident that Walmart Online Grocery Pickup will change your life like it’s changed mine. Plus for a limited time, you can get $10 off your first Walmart Online Grocery Pickup order of $50 or more. That’s a 20% savings on meat, produce and the things you buy every single week. So why not give it a try!

Because of Jacksonville’s geography, it says there is a store near me although the closest stores are 20 miles away over along bridge. I filled up a cart and check your website regularly for a. closer location opening

I love it just as much as you do. One thing you didn’t mention is while choosing your items online the site adds the $$$$ up as you go. You know exactly how much money you’re spending as you put items in your cart. Spending too much??? Just remove an item …… I really can’t wait for it to get to my town. I’m driving one town over to get mine. But it still takes less time than if I had to go inside and shop for myself. LOVE IT!!!

Anyone who knows me knows that I HATE to go shopping, especially inside a large store where there are many people. I tend to get “postal”, which is not a good thing. I don’t think I have even set foot inside of a Walmart in 8 or more years. My daughter-in-laws sister told me about the grocery pickup at Walmart. I immediately thought, yeah right it can’t be as fantastic as all that. Nope, IT’S BETTER THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE. I can go on line and add an item to my grocery list as I think of it. When I am ready for the groceries, I finalize my order, pick the date and time I want the order, and pay for it — all on line. As I head to the store, I call them to let them know I am 10 minutes out, and I call again when I pull into the reserved slot. They are always out to my car within 5 minutes, and I am pulling out 10 minutes after I drove in. Not once have I been disappointed with my bread, rolls, produce, fresh meat, frozen items, etc. Not once. The employees are friendly and just plan amazing.

I’ve been using it for a while I love it! I do have one problem though I wondered if you have had the same problem? An item I usually purchase will show up as out of stock, and then it will continue to be that way for weeks and never return as being back in stock. And these are items I know are in the store because I’ve gone in and bought them. I even emailed Walmart about it and they said to clear my cache which I did and it didn’t help at all. It’s really frustrating!

That’s so strange. I haven’t encountered that problem myself yet.

This has happened to me. This definitely won’t stop me from using this wonderful service–I’ve been using it since the first week they started doing it and I love it. But it is very annoying when picking up everything to make a hamburger, and the only missing item from your order is the buns. Or the time I was making a lasagna and everything was in stock but the cheese.

Here’s one tip I can give you to help out. Open up another tab with the walmart, com–not the grocery site. Make sure it’s set to the store you intend to pick up from. If there’s an item you’re not sure is in stock, check it on the actual walmart.com site, and it will tell you if it’s in stock at your store. Sometimes it will tell you it’ll be available in a few days (which is not in stock) or not available at this location. Unless it says “Available in Store,” it’s not in stock, no matter what the grocery site says.

When that occurs it could be one of two reasons the system count for the item is off vs physical or the warehouse is out of the item

Walmart pickup is absolutely fantastic! It’s a great time saver and would be really beneficial for single mothers, elderly, sick, disabled and time limited people. It doesn’t cost any more than going in store, except you miss out on specials. I was reluctant to try it but so glad I did!
