If you love lemonade, try this updated sparkling version. It’s cool, crisp and refreshing. The perfect sparkling lemonade recipe for summer!
One of my favorite things to do on hot summer evenings is to sit on the back patio with a magazine and a glass of cold lemonade. My kids are running around playing and my hubby is usually grilling us some dinner. It’s perfection.
Normally I make traditional lemonade but since getting hooked on LaCroix, I’m loving all things sparkling. So I took my traditional lemonade turned it into a sparkling lemonade recipe and it tastes so good! The bubbles just give the lemonade that extra something. It’s lovely and very easy to make.
If you are using this sparkling lemonade recipe for a party or just want to feel a little fancy, garnish your drink with some sprigs of fresh herbs. Thyme is a great choice. Also, mint, rosemary and lavender would be beautiful too. The herbs give the sparkling lemonade just a hint of flavor and really give your drink a polished look.
- 7 lemons
- 4 Cups sparkling water or soda
- ¾ Cups sugar
- Sprigs of herbs (optional)
- Juice your lemons.
- Add the sugar to the lemon juice and stir well.
- Add the water and stir
- Garnish with sprigs of fresh herbs
- Serve and enjoy
