Quick & Easy Pumpkin Pie Dip Recipe

Easy Pumpkin Pie Dip

I don’t know about you but I have been thoroughly enjoying Fall this year. There are so many delicious Fall flavors to enjoy. I love incorporating them in unusual ways so the whole family can enjoy them. That’s why I was so excited to partner with Yoplait for their #SnackandSmile campaign to share one of our favorite snack ideas using yogurt!

Yoplait

We usually have fruit as an after school snack and to make it a little more exciting, I love to pair the fruit with yogurt dip. The kids gobble it up. Now that Fall is here, I try to incorporate Yoplait’s seasonal flavors into my traditional yogurt dip to give it a little spice and Fall flavor. The other day when I was at Walmart I grabbed some of the new Yoplait Light Pumpkin Pie yogurt cups. These are perfect for whipping up a batch of easy Pumpkin Pie dip.

Easy Pumpkin Pie Dip

This is seriously the easiest stuff to make. You need a bowl and 5 ingredients: Yoplait light Pumpkin Pie yogurt, Cinnamon, Brown Sugar, Vanilla and Whipped Topping. If you think it needs some extra spice, sprinkle a little Pumpkin Pie Spice to taste. No need for your mixer or anything else. Just dump, stir, refrigerate and done. Using the Yoplait light yogurt varieties and fat free whipped topping helps keeps this a little on the healthier side compared to traditional fruit dips that use cream cheese.

Now, you could make Pumpkin Pie yogurt dip with a can of pumpkin but I prefer to use flavored yogurt, like Yoplait light Pumpkin Pie yogurt. This makes it so much easier to do a smaller batch without wasting an entire can of pumpkin. And it’s one less ingredient you have to remember to buy. I often make a half-batch when we are having this easy Pumpkin Pie Dip as an after school snack.

The yogurt and whipped topping lend a bit of sweetness to the recipe so the amount of brown sugar you add can definitely vary. I like to add 1/4 cup for the full recipe. If you don’t like things overly sweet, start with none and add 1/8 cup at a time to see what you think. And by all means, add more if you think 1/4 cup isn’t quite enough!

Now, you don’t have to stick with Yoplait light Pumpkin Pie yogurt. Once you get your pumpkin fix, use any of their other flavors to create something new and yummy. One of the other fall flavors, Yoplait original Apple Crisp, is super delicious as a fruit dip too. I love to crush a Nature Valley Oats and Honey bar into it to give it that crispy crumble.

Once Fall is over, try some other flavors. Just swap the Yoplait light Pumpkin Pie for any other Yoplait flavor and make your own fabulous creation. We love to make Key Lime Pie dip, Lemon Meringue dip and even traditional Vanilla dip.

This makes me wish my husband wasn’t allergic to eggs and dairy products. I miss French toast and LOVE the idea of pumpkin style! I live vicariously through your messages. Thanks
