Blackberry season in Texas is timed perfectly at the end of Strawberry season and the beginning of peach season. This means if you choose your farm carefully you can pick more than one kind of fruit! We usually visit Marburger Orchard in Fredericksburg in early June and always pick both peaches and blackberries!

Fruit picking is one of my boys favorite summertime activities. We got as soon as school lets out for the summer and try to get our visit in before it’s too terribly hot.
