Asian Garlic Noodles
  • 16oz Lo Mein Noodles
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoon butter
  • 3 tablespoon minced garlic
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ½ tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage,
  • Chopped scallions
  • Sesame seeds (optional)
  1. Cook the noodles according to package directions. Drain the water and set aside.
  2. In a large pan or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add 1 Tbsp garlic and saute for 30 seconds.
  3. Add the chicken, salt and ginger and cook until chicken is done. Add the cabbage and continue to cook for about 30 seconds. Remove chicken mixture from pan and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add the remaining garlic and saute until fragrant.
  5. Add the red pepper, sugar and soy sauce. Stir continuously until the sugar is dissolved. Remove pan front heat. Add the noodles and chicken and toss to coat.
  6. Top with chopped scallions and sesame seeds.
