Yum, yum, yum! I just love a good, delicious breakfast and this Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bake is perfect. I love this recipe because one of my boys loves french toast and the other is a cinnamon roll fan. I can whip this up the night before and they are both happy. I also love to take Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bake to breakfast potlucks. It’s always a hit.

You can either make this the night before or in the morning. If you make it the night before, it’s best to use frozen cinnamon rolls like Rhodes. Frozen cinnamon rolls typically require you to thaw them and let them rise but you really don’t need to do that for this cinnamon roll french toast bake. They will thaw and rise in the fridge overnight.

If you are making this in the morning, use can use canned cinnamon roll dough like Pillsbury. Just be sure to get the regular sized roll and not the giant “Grand” rolls. You want the pieces in the Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bake to be bite-sized and completely fill the pan so for this, smaller is actually better.
